On 19th October 2025, Vizag Volunteers Association successfully completed its 631st Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing its mission of protecting the environment and preserving the natural beauty of Vizag’s coastline. The initiative brought together 8 dedicated volunteers who enthusiastically contributed their time and effort towards creating a cleaner and healthier coastal environment.
Over the course of three hours, volunteers actively cleaned the beach and collected 10 bags of waste, including plastic litter, snack wrappers, birthday celebration waste, poppers, blasters, discarded idols, and other non-biodegradable materials. Their collective efforts helped reduce pollution along the shoreline and contributed to safeguarding marine ecosystems and public spaces.
The cleanup activity highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility and raised awareness about the impact of waste pollution on beaches and marine life. Through their actions, volunteers demonstrated how individual commitment and community participation can play a vital role in protecting natural resources and maintaining clean surroundings.
Under the leadership of Lead Volunteer Hemani, the team worked with dedication, enthusiasm, and teamwork to ensure the success of the initiative. Their early morning efforts reflected a strong sense of civic responsibility and a shared commitment to environmental conservation.
Beyond removing waste, the event encouraged sustainable practices and inspired community members to take greater ownership of public spaces. The activity reinforced the message that keeping beaches clean is a collective responsibility and that small actions can create meaningful and lasting environmental change.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all 8 volunteers who participated in the 631st Beach Cleanup Activity. Their dedication and service continue to inspire others and contribute significantly to making Vizag’s beaches cleaner, safer, and more beautiful.
Through regular beach cleanup initiatives, Vizag Volunteers Association remains committed to building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. Together, we continue to protect our coastline, preserve our environment, and create a positive impact for generations to come.
