642 beach cleanup

On "11th January 2026", Vizag Volunteers successfully completed their "642nd Beach and Hill Cleanup Activity", continuing their commitment to protecting the environment and preserving the natural beauty of our coastline and surrounding landscapes. A dedicated team of "9 volunteers" came together and spent "3 hours" actively cleaning both the beach and nearby hill areas.

Through their collective efforts, the volunteers successfully collected "11 bags of waste", including plastic debris, footwear, blasters, bottle covers, and other litter scattered across the environment. By removing this waste, the team helped reduce pollution and contribute to a cleaner, safer space for both people and wildlife.

During the cleanup, the volunteers also encountered "two deceased sea turtles" that had washed ashore. Understanding the importance of treating wildlife with dignity and maintaining environmental hygiene, the team responsibly buried the turtles. This moment served as a sobering reminder of the challenges faced by marine life and reinforced the importance of protecting our oceans and coastal ecosystems from pollution and other environmental threats.

The activity highlighted how environmental conservation extends beyond collecting litter.
