657th Beach Cleanup 🌊♻️

On 19th April 2026, Vizag Volunteers successfully completed their 657th Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing their mission of creating cleaner beaches and a healthier environment for everyone. A dedicated team of 15 volunteers came together early in the morning and spent 3 hours working tirelessly to clean the shoreline.

Through their collective efforts, the team removed 12 bags of waste from the beach, including plastic water bottles, footwear, bottles, plastic debris, and large cloth waste. These items, if left on the shore, could have eventually entered the ocean and posed serious risks to marine life and the coastal ecosystem.

While the number of bags collected tells one part of the story, the true impact lies in the commitment and dedication shown by every volunteer. By choosing to spend their morning serving the community and protecting nature, they demonstrated that meaningful change begins with individual action and collective responsibility.

Each cleanup activity not only helps restore the beauty of our coastline but also raises awareness about the growing issue of waste pollution. Every piece of litter removed is a step toward cleaner beaches, healthier oceans, and a more sustainable future for generations to come.
