658 beach cleanup

On 26th April 2026, Vizag Volunteers successfully completed their 658th Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing their commitment to protecting and preserving our beautiful coastline. Despite the early morning hours, 13 dedicated volunteers came together with a shared purpose and spent 3 hours cleaning the beach and making a positive impact on the environment.

Through their collective efforts, the team successfully removed 20 bags of waste from the shoreline. The collected waste included plastic water bottles, footwear, bottles, plastic debris, and large cloth waste that had accumulated along the beach. If left unattended, this waste could have eventually entered the ocean, posing a serious threat to marine life and the overall health of the coastal ecosystem.

Every cleanup activity serves as a reminder that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility. While a single piece of litter may seem insignificant, the combined efforts of committed individuals can create a remarkable transformation. The dedication shown by our volunteers demonstrates how community action can help restore the natural beauty of our beaches and inspire others to become more environmentally conscious.
