Happy homes old-age home

On 1st February 2026, Vizag Volunteers Association organized a heartwarming visit to an Elders Home at Old Dairy Farm, Visakhapatnam, under its flagship initiative, Project – Bridging Generations. The program was designed to foster meaningful connections between volunteers and senior citizens while promoting compassion, companionship, and community engagement.

A dedicated team of volunteers spent quality time with the elderly residents through friendly conversations, interactive activities, and shared experiences. The visit created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where residents had the opportunity to share their stories, memories, and life experiences, while volunteers listened with care, respect, and appreciation.

The initiative focused on addressing the emotional well-being of the residents by providing companionship and creating moments of joy and connection. Through simple interactions, shared laughter, and meaningful discussions, volunteers helped make the day memorable and uplifting for the elders.
