Immunity Tea

During the COVID-19 pandemic, maintaining health and immunity became a major concern for everyone. With growing uncertainty and increasing cases, Vizag Volunteers sought ways to support the community not only through relief activities but also by promoting preventive health measures.

With this goal in mind, the organization launched an Immunity Tea Distribution Drive, initially planning to serve 100 cups of immunity tea per day. However, as awareness of the initiative spread and community response grew, the demand increased significantly. Recognizing the need, the volunteers expanded their efforts and began serving approximately 400 cups of immunity tea every day.

What began as a small-scale effort gradually evolved into a large community outreach program. Over the course of 42 consecutive days, Vizag Volunteers successfully distributed an impressive 24,000 cups of immunity tea, reaching thousands of people across the city. The scale of the initiative reflected both the dedication of the volunteers and the trust placed in them by the community.

The success of the Immunity Tea Distribution Drive was made possible through the collective efforts of volunteers, supporters, and donors who believed in the importance of preventive health and community welfare. Their contributions helped sustain the initiative and enabled it to continue far beyond its original scope.
