MEGA BEACH CLEAN UP 664

On 5th June 2026, marking the occasion of World Environment Day, Vizag Volunteers successfully completed their 664th Beach Cleanup Activity in collaboration with MGM Seven Hills Hospital at Tenneti Park, Visakhapatnam. This special cleanup drive brought together a remarkable 130 volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to protecting our environment and preserving the beauty of our coastline.

With great enthusiasm and teamwork, volunteers dedicated their valuable time and energy to cleaning the beach and creating awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. Through their collective efforts, the team successfully collected 75 bags of waste, including plastic bottles, wrappers, cloth waste, and various other non-biodegradable materials that had accumulated along the shoreline.

The cleanup was more than just a waste collection drive it was a powerful demonstration of community action and environmental responsibility. Every bag of waste removed from the beach represented a step toward cleaner oceans, healthier ecosystems, and a safer habitat for marine life. The large turnout of volunteers reflected the growing awareness and concern for environmental protection within our community.
