Cloth Segregation Activity 👕♻️

On 23rd and 24th May 2026, Vizag Volunteers successfully conducted a Cloth Segregation Activity, bringing together 30 dedicated volunteers who generously contributed their time and effort towards promoting reuse, recycling, and sustainable waste management.

Over the course of two days, volunteers worked tirelessly to sort, categorize, organize, and pack approximately 180 boxes of donated clothes. The activity involved carefully separating usable garments, arranging them for distribution, and ensuring that the donations could be effectively reused or recycled. This process plays a crucial role in reducing textile waste and extending the life of clothing that can benefit individuals and families in need.

Beyond organizing clothes, the activity also served as a reminder of how collective action can create meaningful change. Every box sorted, every item folded, and every hour contributed reflected the commitment of our volunteers towards creating a cleaner, greener, and more compassionate society.
