Rotary Marathon 2022 Bib Expo

The Rotary Marathon Bib Expo was successfully conducted over two days, on 9th and 10th November, at Louis Philippe, Siripuram, Visakhapatnam. The expo served as the official bib collection center for participants registered for the Rotary Marathon and played an important role in preparing runners for the event.

To ensure the smooth execution of the expo, Vizag Volunteers joined hands with enthusiastic students from St. Joseph’s College, contributing their time and effort to support the organizers and assist the participants. The volunteers worked diligently throughout the two days, helping to create an organized and efficient experience for all runners.

The bib distribution process was arranged through separate sections for the 10 km and 5 km race categories, allowing participants to collect their race materials with ease. Volunteers guided runners to the appropriate counters, assisted with registration-related queries, verified participant details, and ensured that bib distribution was carried out systematically.

Beyond managing logistics, the volunteers helped create a welcoming and supportive environment for participants. Their friendly assistance and commitment to service contributed to a positive experience for runners as they prepared for the marathon.

The successful conduct of the Bib Expo highlighted the importance of volunteer involvement in large-scale sporting events. Through their hard work, coordination, and enthusiasm, the volunteers played a valuable role in supporting both the organizers and participants, helping the event run seamlessly from start to finish.
