Vizag Volunteers Association is a registered Non-Profit Organisation under the Andhra Pradesh Society Act, 2001, bearing register No 101/2021.

Vizag Volunteers was founded by Mr. Karnatakapu Satish on 27 March 2020, 2 days after the nationwide lockdown came into force – envisioned through a stirring compassionate purpose to help the poor and needy affected during the period.

The organization started very humbly with his corporate circle friends and NGOs coming together on a WhatsApp group. After that, time witnessed many organizations with a similar cause join hands and serve under the banner of Vizag Volunteers.

Mr. Chandan Achary, the co-founder, shouldered managing the various organization's projects on the digital platform.

Mr. Satish, professionally having an IT background, has extensive experience in new technologies and possesses abundant expertise in establishing and operating an organization on a virtual platform. He thus assimilated a skillful team that shaped a website and inaugurated a social media presence.

Teamwork is the baseline of our Excellence. Therefore, we had formed teams that were assigned with specific tasks vis-à-vis, Food Preparation, Ground Volunteering, Social Media Handling, Helpline Attenders and Doctor Consultation, to name a few.

Since the onset, over the past year, we have delivered 15000+ SMILES through various activities.

To integrate the society towards helping the city on various essential fronts and building a resilient platform of volunteers who stand strong for righteous causes towards the well-being of Vizag.

MISSION

Serving society in every possible way and creating digital platforms for the processes involved therein. We operate through building strong frameworks with specific guidelines to support the citizens of Vizag efficiently.
