665 Beach Cleanup
We are happy to share that Vizag Volunteers successfully completed the 665th Beach Clean-Up on 7th June 2026, continuing the journey of consistent action towards a cleaner and healthier coastline.
A total of 18 dedicated volunteers came together and spent 3 valuable hours cleaning the beach with great energy, commitment, and teamwork. Through their sincere efforts, the team collected 16 bags of trash, which included plastic waste, birthday poppers, blasters, Lays covers, bottles, and other non-biodegradable waste that had been scattered across the shore.
While 16 bags may sound like a number, behind it lies the effort of people who chose to wake up, show up, and work for something bigger than themselves. Every piece of waste removed from the beach is a step towards protecting our environment, keeping our public spaces clean, and preventing harmful materials from reaching the sea and affecting marine life. Plastic covers, bottles, and party waste may seem small when thrown away, but when left behind, they slowly damage the beauty and health of our coastline.
