683 Beach cleanup

683rd Beach Cleanup | Kalam Sea View Point | 4th October 2026 

Another step towards a cleaner and healthier coastline! 🌱

On 4th October 2026, the 683rd Beach Cleanup was successfully carried out at Kalam Sea View Point, bringing together 12 dedicated volunteers who came forward to protect and restore our beautiful coastline.

During the cleanup, our volunteers collected 5 bags of waste, including plastic waste, discarded slippers, and other non-biodegradable materials scattered along the seashore. Along with the regular waste, the team also faced a particularly challenging task — removing 10 large Ganesh idols that had been left along the shore.

The large idols were extremely difficult to remove due to their size, weight, and position on the seashore. Despite the challenge, our volunteers worked together with determination, teamwork, and patience to safely clear them from the beach. Their efforts helped prevent these materials from remaining on the shore and contributing further to coastal pollution. 🌊

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who participated and dedicated their time and energy to this cleanup. A special appreciation to the Cognizant volunteers for their amazing work, enthusiasm, and valuable contribution towards keeping our coastline clean. 🙌💙
