Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we are following all precautions to avoid spreading the virus. You are advised to wear a mask throughout the blood camp and maintain 2 feet of physical distance. Use hand sanitiser at the camp location to keep your hands sanitized. In case of any bad experiences in previous blood donations, please share them with our team.
As the 2nd Wave of Covid pandemic is going down in our city we have seen a spike in requests for blood in Vizag.
On this International Blood Donors day, we are collaborating with multiple organizations and conducting blood camps to encouraging blood donation among the youth and also Fill the Blood Banks for future needs.
Vizag Volunteers request you to come forward and save a life.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring the safety of both donors and volunteers was a top priority while conducting blood donation camps. Although the need for blood remained critical, it was equally important to follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus and provide a safe environment for everyone participating in the camp.
To achieve this, Vizag Volunteers worked diligently to implement all necessary COVID-19 precautionary measures throughout the blood donation drive. Volunteers played a key role in guiding participants, managing the flow of donors, and ensuring that safety protocols were followed at every stage of the camp.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers, healthcare professionals, and donors who contributed to the success of the camp. Their commitment, responsibility, and willingness to support others helped ensure that patients in need received critical blood supplies while maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved.
Together, we proved that even during a pandemic, compassion, service, and community spirit can continue to save lives when combined with care and responsibility. ❤️🩸😷🤝
