From 7:00 PM on 19th April 2026 to 9:00 PM on 20th April 2026, Vizag Volunteers proudly participated in the grand celebration of Chandanotsavam 2026 at Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, contributing their time, energy, and dedication to support one of the region’s most significant spiritual events.
With the participation of more than 500 volunteers, this large-scale service initiative showcased the true spirit of selfless community service. Throughout the event, volunteers worked tirelessly across various responsibilities, helping manage crowds, guiding devotees, providing assistance to pilgrims, supporting event coordination, and ensuring the smooth conduct of activities during the festival.
The continuous service rendered over nearly 26 hours reflected the commitment, discipline, and teamwork of every volunteer involved. Despite the long hours and the large number of devotees attending the event, the volunteers carried out their responsibilities with enthusiasm, patience, and a strong sense of purpose. Their efforts played an important role in helping thousands of devotees experience the festival safely and comfortably.
Chandanotsavam is not only a religious celebration but also an occasion that brings together people from different walks of life. Through this initiative, volunteers had the opportunity to serve the community, strengthen their leadership skills, and experience the joy that comes from helping others. The event demonstrated how collective action and dedicated service can contribute to the success of large public gatherings.
Beyond managing logistics, the volunteers embodied the values of compassion, humility, and devotion. Their willingness to dedicate their time for the welfare of others transformed service into a celebration of community spirit and shared responsibility.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer who participated in this remarkable initiative. Your dedication, perseverance, and commitment made Chandanotsavam 2026 a memorable and successful event. Together, you demonstrated that true leadership begins with service and that even the largest challenges can be overcome through teamwork and unity.
Serving with devotion, leading with purpose, and making a difference through selfless service. 💙🙏✨
