Brief Note

An Eastern Naval Command initiative and proud flagship marathon event by the Indian Navy is the biggest sporting event of the state. The 7th edition is the most special as it was missed by two years due to Covid. Vizag Navy Marathon will see participants from the armed forces, corporate hub, public sector, and educational institutions in huge numbers.

Vizag Volunteers the official volunteering partner of the navy marathon with over 2000 volunteers the marathon was a success, every volunteer participated had a hands on approach and not a single element missed. Vizag Volunteers Association managed complete end to end volunteering with 2000 volunteers at Navy Marathon-2022. Our volunteers took care of all the Aid Stations from Vuda Park to INS Kalinga.Every aid station contained a medical team, water, electrolytes, and fruits for the runners as well as the volunteers.They cheered the runners all along and spread the josh in them. In addition to Aid Station Volunteering, our volunteers took care to distribute food and medals to all the 18,000 runners who participated in 5k,10k, half Marathon and full Marathon.
