Safety Precautions

Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we are following all precautions to avoid spreading the virus. You are advised to wear a mask throughout the cleanup and maintain 2 feet of physical distance. Please wear good quality shoes to avoid any cuts from broken glass pieces.

Gloves

You will be provided with good quality gloves to avoid direct contact of hands with waste.

Clean up bags

We use High Density Poly Ethylene bags (Rice bags) to collect the waste on beaches due to their durability.

555th Beach Cleanup Activity – 9th June 2024 🌊

Vizag Volunteers successfully conducted the 555th Beach Cleanup Activity on 9th June 2024, bringing together dedicated volunteers to protect and preserve our coastline.

The activity focused on beach cleanliness, environmental awareness, and encouraging responsible actions towards keeping our surroundings clean.

Volunteers actively participated in waste collection and contributed towards creating a cleaner and greener Vizag.

We thank all our volunteers for their valuable support, dedication, and efforts in making this initiative a success.

Dear Vizag Volunteers, We have successfully completed our 555th Beach Clean-Up on 09th June, 2024 with collaboration of GVMC and Bisleri. 33 volunteers participated and contributed 99 hours of their precious time together and collected more than 43 bags of trash that constituted of Plastic, Polythene covers, Clothes and Glass pieces. 555th Beach Cleanup

555th Beach Cleanup Activity – 9th June 2024 🌊

On 9th June 2024, Vizag Volunteers successfully organized the 555th Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing our mission to protect Vizag’s coastline and promote environmental responsibility within the community.

The cleanup drive brought together passionate volunteers who actively participated in collecting waste, cleaning the beach surroundings, and preserving the natural beauty of our coastal environment. Their teamwork and dedication reflected the importance of collective action in creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

The activity focused on spreading awareness about responsible waste management, reducing pollution, and protecting marine ecosystems. Volunteers worked together with enthusiasm and commitment, showing how small efforts can contribute to a larger positive change.
