Safety Precautions
Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we are following all precautions to avoid spreading the virus. You are advised to wear a mask throughout the cleanup and maintain 2 feet of physical distance. Please wear good quality shoes to avoid any cuts from broken glass pieces.
Gloves
You will be provided with good quality gloves to avoid direct contact of hands with waste.
Clean up bags
We use High Density Poly Ethylene bags (Rice bags) to collect the waste on beaches due to their durability.
560th Beach Cleanup Activity – 14th July 2024 🌊
Vizag Volunteers successfully conducted the 560th Beach Cleanup Activity on 14th July 2024, bringing together dedicated volunteers to protect and preserve our coastline.
The activity focused on beach cleanliness, environmental awareness, and encouraging responsible actions towards keeping our surroundings clean.
Volunteers actively participated in waste collection and contributed towards creating a cleaner and greener Vizag.
We thank all our volunteers for their valuable time, dedication, and support in making this initiative a success.

Dear Vizag Volunteers, We have successfully completed our 560th Beach Clean-Up on 14th July, 2024. 09 volunteers participated and contributed 27 hours of their precious time together and collected more than 13 bags of trash that constituted of Plastic, Polythene covers, Clothes and Glass pieces. 560th Beach Cleanup Activity – 14th July 2024 🌊
On 14th July 2024, Vizag Volunteers successfully organized the 560th Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing our mission to protect Vizag’s coastline and promote environmental responsibility within the community.
The cleanup drive brought together enthusiastic volunteers who actively participated in collecting waste, cleaning the beach surroundings, and preserving the natural beauty of our coastal environment. Their dedication and teamwork reflected the importance of collective action in maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment.
The activity focused on spreading awareness about responsible waste management, reducing pollution, and protecting marine ecosystems. Volunteers worked together with enthusiasm and commitment, showing how small efforts can contribute to a larger positive impact.
Every cleanup initiative is a reminder that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility. The efforts of our volunteers inspire more people to take action and contribute towards keeping our beaches clean and sustainable.
