Safety Precautions
Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we are following all precautions to avoid spreading the virus. You are advised to wear a mask throughout the cleanup and maintain 2 feet of physical distance. Please wear good quality shoes to avoid any cuts from broken glass pieces.
Gloves
You will be provided with good quality gloves to avoid direct contact of hands with waste.
Cleanup bags
We use High Density Poly Ethylene bags (Rice bags) to collect the waste on beaches due to their durability
562nd Beach Cleanup Activity – 28th July 2024 🌊
Vizag Volunteers successfully conducted the 562nd Beach Cleanup Activity on 28th July 2024, bringing together dedicated volunteers to protect and preserve our coastline.
The activity focused on beach cleanliness, environmental awareness, and encouraging responsible actions towards keeping our surroundings clean.
Volunteers actively participated in waste collection and contributed towards creating a cleaner and greener Vizag.
We thank all our volunteers for their valuable time, dedication, and support in making this initiative a success.

Dear Vizag Volunteers, We have successfully completed our 562nd Beach Clean-Up on 28th July, 2024. 33 volunteers participated and contributed 99 hours of their precious time together and collected more than 36 bags of trash that constituted of Plastic, Polythene covers, Clothes and Glass pieces. In association with JCI Visakhapatnam. Lead Volunteer: Rakesh Pola Volunteers: 33 Volunteers Let’s continue this spirit and make sure our Vizag beaches are clean and let’s bring back the glory of our beaches to enjoy our beautiful view with our near and dear ones.
