🌊 Beach Cleanup 678 | Making a Difference Together
Beach Cleanup 678 took place on 30th August 2026 at Kalam Sea View Point, Visakhapatnam, bringing together 8 committed volunteers who dedicated their time towards keeping the coastline cleaner.
The volunteers worked along the beach to identify and remove different kinds of waste that had accumulated across the shoreline. By the end of the activity, an impressive 20 bags of trash had been collected, including plastic, nano-plastic, cloth waste, and other discarded materials.
The cleanup highlighted how different forms of waste can accumulate in coastal areas and become part of the surrounding environment. While larger pieces of litter are easily noticeable, smaller plastic fragments can often remain scattered among the sand, making them particularly important to identify and remove.
The activity was a reflection of teamwork and community participation. With each volunteer contributing their time and effort, the group was able to collect a substantial amount of waste and leave the area cleaner than they found it.
Beyond the number of bags collected, the activity helped reinforce the importance of being mindful of how we use and dispose of everyday materials. Responsible waste management, reducing unnecessary plastic consumption, and preventing litter from reaching our beaches are all essential steps towards protecting coastal spaces.
A sincere thank you to all 8 volunteers who participated in Beach Cleanup 678. Your dedication and willingness to contribute made this initiative possible. The effort you put in is a valuable reminder that meaningful environmental action can begin with something as simple as showing up and taking responsibility for the space around us.
We invite more people to join future cleanup activities and become part of a community that takes active steps towards cleaner beaches and a healthier environment. 🌊💚
