We volunteered at Andhra University for the Andhra Pradesh elections on May 12 and 13, 2024. Our Volunteering began at 9 AM on May 12, where we set up polling booths, managed ballot boxes, and arranged necessary materials for voters. Additionally, we took charge of traffic control in the nearby Madilapallem area, ensuring a disturbance-free environment. On May 13, our volunteering resumed at 4 PM and lasted until 3 AM on May 14. During this period, we provided support to government officials, controlled traffic, and assisted elderly voters in reaching the polling booths. Our team’s dedication ensured the election process was conducted smoothly, offering essential services to both the public and officials. Our efforts significantly contributed to an organized and efficient election experience for everyone involved.
