On April 4th, the PCOD-OS team conducted a powerful awareness session at Govt. T.W. Ashram School Girls 1 & 2 in Ananthagiri. Over 200 tribal girl students actively participated in discussions about PCOD, menstrual health, and wellness. The session featured interactive talks, myth-busting facts, and the distribution of informative pamphlets. The initiative aimed to break taboos, educate young girls, and empower them with knowledge about reproductive health.
On April 4th, 2025, the PCOD-OS awareness team, visited Govt. T.W. Ashram School Girls 1 & 2 in Ananthagiri to conduct a comprehensive awareness program focused on Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) and menstrual health.
The session reached out to more than 200 tribal girl students, many of whom had limited access to healthcare information. The team delivered an engaging session using simple language, visuals, and storytelling methods to make the topic relatable. Topics such as menstrual hygiene, early symptoms of PCOD, importance of physical activity and nutrition, and mental wellness were covered in an interactive and respectful manner.

Interactive Q&A sessions
Sharing of real-life stories and testimonials
Guided breathing and relaxation exercises
Motivational messages to build self-confidence and body positivity
The young girls enthusiastically participated, asking questions and sharing their concerns, marking a small yet significant step in bridging the health education gap. The school staff appreciated the initiative, requesting more such visits in the future.
This event was part of PCOD-OS’s mission to raise awareness among 1 lakh women and girls and ensure that even remote communities are not left behind in the journey toward reproductive and hormonal health awareness.
