Over 800+ Vizag volunteers joined the Chandanostavam event on May 9th and worked until May 10th, starting from 5 pm. Before that, they had already spent two days helping out in the Simhachalam department. This event was organized by the Simhachalam Devastalam. The volunteers put in a lot of hard work, managing various tasks like crowd control, water supply, assisting the elderly, and checking tickets and QR codes. They were stationed at different points in Simhachalam, such as Gosala bus point, Adavivaram bus point, uphill bus point, and downhill bus point. They also worked at the office, checking tickets and scanning QR codes, while helping people find their way and meet their needs. Additionally, they managed crowd control near the Gali Gopuram, ensuring everyone stayed in line. They even distributed biscuit packets to people. On May 11th, the volunteers returned to assist with crowd control again. Their efforts were vital in ensuring the smooth running of the Chandanostavam event and helping everyone involved.
