  • Summary:

    Vizag Volunteers celebrated Christmas with a chocolate distribution event. Volunteers and donors gathered funds to purchase chocolates and gifts for children, which we then distributed. The event started at 10:00 am and continued until 5:00 pm, covering areas like Post Office, Complex, Seethammadahara, Relliveedhi, KGH (Pediatric ward), Isakatota, Arilova, Ambedkar colony, and Boys hostel (Gov). We felt immense joy while distributing chocolates to the children. Volunteers visited different streets to share the treats and bring smiles to the children's faces. Some volunteers went to KGH hospital to distribute chocolates, creating a memorable experience. To add to the festive spirit, a few volunteers dressed up as Santa Claus, delighting the children. Our volunteers organized games for the children and gifted them, making the event truly special. It was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved.

On December 25th, 2023, in celebration of Christmas, our dedicated volunteers united to bring joy and happiness to children residing in slum areas. The event was heartwarming, witnessing the radiant smiles on the faces of the little ones as they received the delightful chocolates. As the children gathered around, our volunteers welcomed them with warm smiles, distributing the chocolates with love and compassion. The act of giving chocolates went beyond just providing sweet treats; it was an expression of love, kindness, and joy during the festive season. Our volunteers seized the opportunity to engage with the children, listening to their stories. They were appreciative of the chance to positively impact the lives of these children, and the experience filled their hearts with warmth and fulfillment.

How We Executed

The Vizag Volunteers successfully carried out a heartwarming project, setting a great example of what a community can achieve when working together for a shared goal. This project shows that with dedication, teamwork, and a sincere desire to make a positive change, even a small group of people can have a meaningful impact and motivate others to do the same. Our registered Vizag Volunteers, along with interns interested in volunteering, participated in this program. The volunteers were happy while distributing the chocolates and gifts, and the childerns felt joy receiving them. This experience brought smiles to both the givers and the receivers.
