• Summary:

  On April 16, 2023, Vizag volunteers visited a few villages in the Parvathipuram region in regard to the cloth donation drive of the project reuse program. One of our key volunteers, Eshwar Krishna Garu, first visited the villages a week before to know all the needs the people there had. Our volunteers have done wonderful work for the happiness of the people in rural areas. We have taken part in a reuse program where we have collected non-usable clothes, books, and other things from people who don’t use them anymore. We have initiated and provided some needs for the people over there, like clothes, books, slippers, starchers, mosquito mats, water filters, chocolates for kids, and some more items. We are very thankful to our wonderful donors for contributing to all the needs and other stuff. Sushmitha Mam, Waltair Round Table, Eswar Krishna, Hari Garu, VV Volunteers Transportation for materials and volunteers Ramesh Babu Garu, Prasanna Kumar Tadi, and Santosh Kumar (Chocolate distribution) have donated funds to see the happiness of the people in the villages. As We have done the work with love and affection towards them, and we enjoyed volunteering a lot. And we also taught them to raise awareness among people about the importance of education. The children there felt very happy having us at their place, and they played with us a lot. At the end of the day, we all left the place after seeing their happy faces. All these small things make us happier and give us self-satisfaction for volunteering and serving people.
