Government Blind School - Before Construction

  • Summary:

    Our volunteers conducted a survey at the Blind School. We observed the situation and learned what the students wanted. There is no sufficient water supply for the students and the facilities for drying washed clothes are insufficient. We observed the area surrounding to the wash area is filled with unwanted plants and bushes which could posibilly harm the blind students. So, First we planned to clear the area and then construct a proper wash area with a hand pump.

Vizag volunteers conducted a survey at the Government Blind School. Threough the survey we found out that There was no sufficient water supply for the students and the facilities for drying washed clothes are insufficient. We observed the area surrounding to the wash area is filled with unwanted plants and bushes which could posibilly harm the blind students.A Hand pump for water supply and a clean wash area is required for them. we Decided to provide our utmost support to them in every way possible.

How We Executed

As a part of a special people project, Some of our key volunteers who are very keen to participate in this project were selected. These volunteers initiated a survey to know the needs of the students in The blind school. From the start of the project  till the end, our volunteers took the responsibility and worked hard to put a smile on the faces of the students.
